TR 342 over Schrader Creek

County Bridge Number 5 is a riveted Pratt pony truss bridge.  Its fabrication in 1898 or 1902 has been attributed to the Groton Bridge Company.  It is one span, 66’ long bridge supported on concrete abutments.  Holes in the rolled floorbeams indicate that they may be reused, salvaged material.  There is a modern wood laminated deck.  The bridge has angle sections and original outriggers.  This bridge has been determined not eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
