  • May 10, 2010 – Sandi Loy Bell, Skelly and Loy’s Chief Executive Officer, was named by Central Penn Business Journal as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Central Pennsylvania.

  • March 2010 - Skelly and Loy’s Insurance captive, Northstar Insurance. Ltd. (18 members strong), honored Skelly and Loy with its 2009 Annual Safety Award as well as 2009 awards for no time lost workers compensation claims, top 10 highest RCA scores, 100% claim reporting within 5 days, and 100% attendance at all safety meetings by the firm’s Safety Director.

  • February 18, 2010 - Robert E. McClure, Executive Vice President of Environmental Services for Skelly and Loy, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation/Partnering Award for his role in the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Division’s Intercounty Connector (ICC) Project, Contract C.

  • February 4, 2010 – Skelly and Loy received a 2010 ACEC/PA Diamond Award Certificate for the Broad Top Township Six Mile Run Acid Mine Drainage Restoration Project.

  • October 24, 2009 – The Skelly and Loy and JMT project design team was awarded the 2009 American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Outstanding Highway Project Award for its involvement in the I-279/SR 28 Connector Ramp Project.

  • January 27, 2009– At a recent ceremony held at the Pennsylvania Capitol in Harrisburg, Skelly and Loy received a 2008 Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Award from Preservation Pennsylvania. The firm was part of the project team presented with the Initiative Award for Communication for “Project Keystone,” a stone arch bridge management plan undertaken by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Design. Winning the 2008 Initiative Award for Communication was the team of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Bureau of Design, the Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Skelly and Loy, Inc., for producing a user-friendly and publicly accessible management plan and maintenance manual for stone arch bridges in the Greater Philadelphia region.

  • January 27, 2009 - Skelly and Loy was also bestowed with a 2008 West Virginia Division of Highways Engineering Excellence Award in the Planning, Traffic, and Environmental category for the biological assessment that the firm completed for the West Virginia Route 9 Improvement Project in Jefferson County, West Virginia.

  • July 18, 2008– Skelly and Loy, Inc. was ranked #197 of the Top 200 Environmental Firms by Engineering News Record (ENR), the engineering industry's premier trade publication. Companies were ranked based on gross revenue they reported in 2007 for providing environmental services and products to domestic and international markets.

  • March 18, 2008– At a recent banquet held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Skelly and Loy was presented with two 2008 American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) Honor Awards For Engineering Excellence: Winning the Honor Award in the Water and Wastewater Category was the Hidden Valley Camping Resort Sewage Treatment and Spray Irrigation System; and Winning the Honor Award in the Water Resources Category was the North Branch Mehoopany Creek Stream Restoration.

  • February 6, 2007– At a banquet held at the Hotel Hershey on February 1, The American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania presented Skelly and Loy with 2007 Diamond Award Certificates for Engineering Excellence for three of the firm’s outstanding projects: First Hollow Run Stream Restoration Project, completed on behalf of the Carbon County Conservation District; The second certificate was given to Skelly and Loy and its clients and project stakeholders Urban Engineers, The Harrisburg Parking Authority, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, the Delaware Tribe of Indians, the Delaware Nation, and Harrisburg School District for the Market Street Underpass Mitigation – Archaeology Lesson Plan; and, The third ACEC/PA 2007 Engineering Excellence Certificate was given to Skelly and Loy and the project owner and client, PennDOT Engineering District 8-0 and Benatec Associates, for the stream restoration and fluvial geomorphic (FGM) assessment and design for the improvement of Opossum Creek at the bridge spanning the creek at S.R. 4008 in Menallen Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

  • 2005 Carbon County Conservation District Distinguished Service Award for the Design and Construction Oversight of First Hollow Run Stream Restoration Project

  • 2005 ACEC/PA Diamond Honor Award for Engineering Excellence for the Design of a Zero-discharge Wastewater Treatment System at TresslerCare Wilderness Center

  • 2005 Diamond Award Certificate for Engineering Achievement for the Ellen Run Stream Restoration Project in Mansfield Borough

  • 2003 ACEC/PA Diamond Award Certificates for Engineering Achievement for the I-81 Cultural Resources Mitigation Project and the Letort Spring Run Watershed Assessment and Restoration Project

  • West Virginia Division of Highways 2003 Engineering Excellence Award in the Planning and Environmental Category for Skelly and Loy's Work in Conducting Freshwater Mussel Survey and Preparing a Biological Assessment for the Dundon Bridge Replacement Project

  • 2002 Outstanding Highway Engineering Award by the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Pittsburgh Section for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the I-70 to PA 51 Section of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Transportation Project
