Community Involvement

Skelly and Loy's commitment to the world around us is evident in our core business of providing expert environmental and engineering services on projects that help enrich all our lives. But we also know that our social responsibility extends far beyond completing successful and sustainable projects. Our employees dedicate considerable time supporting and participating in a wide range of charitable and civic organizations.

Over the years, Skelly and Loy staff have been loyal supporters of charities such as The American Heart Association, participating in events such as Go Red For Women and the annual Heart Walk. Many have bowled in and volunteered for the annual Bowl for Kids' Sake supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters, while others have sold sundries and raised money in the name of The ALS Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Cancer Society, and Susan G. Komen for The Cure. Some are part of trash pick-up teams for a portion of highway adopted by Skelly and Loy through PennDOT's Adopt-A-Highway Program. Others devote time to environmental conservation groups, and many are involved in church-based mission outreach programs and local civic groups. Skelly and Loy staff even volunteered time to a client who was building a community park, by gathering a group of able bodies to swing hammers and drive nails.
