Client : Keystruct Construction, Inc.Location: Lower Paxton and Susquehanna Townships, Pennsylvania
Skelly and Loy has prepared land development plans for two phases of this business park. The latest phase involved surveying, topographic and boundary mapping, stormwater design, grading plans, and site layouts associated with design of a new 64,000-square-foot 4-story office building and associated parking and a 10,600-square-foot expansion to an existing building. Because the project site straddled the boundary of two townships, compliance with both townships' codes and ordinances was required. LEED Certification methodologies and stormwater management best management practices were employed. Design elements included natural stone masonry walls at the building entrance, a water-scaped pond with rock hardscaping and aquatic plantings, gabion and stone retaining walls, and the preservation of trees and forested areas, creating an aesthetically pleasing project blending in with the natural surroundings.
