Financial Evaluations/Valuations/Mineral Economics
The financial aspects of mineral activities are important from many interests including lenders, vendors, owners, and operators. Economic analyses are generally performed to determine the profitability of an operation, return on investment, ability to service debt, or the value of the holding. Financial considerations are often taken into consideration during preliminary project planning; changes in processes; for sales, acquisitions, and mergers; and in lending situations. These services might be applicable to mine equipment/facilities, existing mining operations, and/or undeveloped reserves. At Skelly and Loy, we are staffed with mining engineers, geologists, and mineral economists capable of completing financial evaluations/valuations and mineral economics associated with mining operations and ventures. We have provided these services to mining companies, electric utilities, property owners, financial institutions, investors, equipment vendors, and other interests.
